Ride Through Europe.
Unpack Only Once.

Discover Europe at the perfect pace. Cycle through charming villages, breathtaking vineyards, and historic riverside towns by day, then return each evening to the comfort of your elegant floating boutique hotel.

This is more than a vacation. It’s an unforgettable way to experience Europe.

iThe Pace

Europe Was Never Meant
to Be Rushed.

Some vacations are about checking destinations off a list. Bike & River Cruises are about slowing down long enough to truly experience them.

Instead of spending hours on crowded coaches or constantly packing and unpacking between hotels, you’ll wake each morning in a new riverside town, enjoy breakfast overlooking the water, then spend the day exploring Europe on two wheels.

Ride through vineyards where families have made wine for generations. Pause in quiet village squares for fresh pastries and espresso. Follow peaceful riverside paths that lead to medieval castles, charming cafés, and hidden places most visitors never see.

When your day of adventure comes to an end, your floating boutique hotel is waiting just a short ride away.

No luggage.
No stress.
No rushing.
Just another unforgettable day in Europe.

ivIs This Right For You?

You Don’t Need to Be an
Elite Cyclist.

Most guests are recreational riders — people who enjoy a comfortable day in the saddle, a long lunch, and a slow look around. The riding is meant to be a pleasure, never a performance.

Many itineraries include:

  • E-bike options
  • Multiple route lengths
  • Support vehicles
  • Guided and self-guided rides
  • Plenty of opportunities to stop and explore

Perfect for travellers who

  • Enjoy recreational cycling
  • Appreciate local culture
  • Love great food and wine
  • Prefer smaller groups
  • Want to stay active while travelling
  • Enjoy authentic European experiences

If you can ride a bicycle comfortably for an hour, you can do this.

viThe Rivers

Where Could Your Journey Begin?

  • The Danube at dusk in Budapest, the illuminated parliament reflected on the water.

Vienna, Bratislava, Budapest — capitals on the water.

  • The Rhine valley at golden hour, steep vineyards and a hilltop castle above the river.

    Rhine

Castles above terraced vineyards, village to village.

  • A bend of the Moselle river below steep vineyard slopes with a half-timbered wine village on the bank.

    Moselle

Slow loops of river, half-timbered wine villages.

  • Terraced vineyards of the Douro Valley falling toward the river in soft afternoon light.

    Douro

Terraced hillsides, port houses, quiet northern Portugal.

  • A misty morning on the Seine in Normandy, chalk cliffs and a village church spire above the river.

    Seine

Normandy orchards, chalk cliffs, and river light.

  • A Dutch canal in spring with gabled houses, tulips, a cycling path and a windmill beyond.

    Netherlands & Belgium

Tulip season, windmills, and the world's best cycling paths.

Not sure which river suits you? That’s usually the best place to start a conversation.

viiFrom Eric

Why I Love Bike &
River Cruises.

It started with a bicycle.

I wasn’t an athlete. I borrowed a bike, rode further than I thought I could, and something opened up. Cycling changed my health, my friendships, and eventually the way I travel.

What I love about Bike & River Cruises is that they hold everything together at once — the riding, the culture, the long dinners, the people you end up laughing with by the third day. You move through a country slowly enough to notice it, then come back to comfort at the end of the day.

There’s no coach schedule pulling you along. No suitcase to repack. Just a morning, a bicycle, and somewhere new outside the window.

“The bicycle didn’t just change how I travel. It changed what I thought was still possible.”

ixGood Questions

Planning Your First
Bike & River Cruise?

Not at all. Riding is always an option, never an obligation. Many guests take a day off to explore a town on foot, stay aboard, or simply read on the sun deck while the ship repositions.
