How we handle your information.

PEDAL & PORT is a Canadian active lifestyle travel brand founded by Eric Mallari. This website is how we share stories, introduce our Collections, and begin conversations with people who travel with us. Questions about anything on this page can go directly to Eric at eric@pedalandport.com.

There is no account to create here, and we do not ask for anything you have not chosen to send us. Information reaches us in four ways:

• Analytics. If you accept cookies, Google Analytics 4 and HubSpot record anonymous usage patterns — pages viewed, approximate region, device type, and how you arrived. We use this to learn which stories people actually read.
• Newsletter signups. The Letter signup form asks for your name and email address, and is hosted by HubSpot.
• Community Host inquiries. The form on our Lead page collects your name, email, phone number if you provide one, where you are based, and details about the community you lead — its type, your role, its approximate size, how often it gathers, travel interests, timing, and what you would like to create.
• Direct contact. Email you send to Eric, and anything you share when booking a conversation through our scheduling link.

No analytics or tracking script loads on this website until you press Accept. That is not a formality — the scripts are simply not on the page before then. If you press Decline, neither Google Analytics nor HubSpot tracking is ever loaded during your visit.

Your answer is stored in your own browser under pp-consent using localStorage. It stays on your device, is never sent to us, and simply saves you from being asked again on every page.

If you accept, Google Analytics and HubSpot set their own cookies in your browser to recognise a returning visit. Clearing your browser data removes all of them, including your saved answer.

You can change your mind at any time. Use the Cookie Preferences link in the footer of any page, or here:

Withdrawing consent clears your saved answer and brings the choice back. Scripts already loaded during the current page view stop being loaded on your next page or refresh; clearing your browser cookies removes anything they had already set.

Newsletter details are used to send The Letter. Community Host and contact details are used to reply to you and to plan the conversation you asked for. Analytics are used in aggregate to improve the website.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s advertising.

Three third parties handle information on our behalf:

• HubSpot — our customer relationship system. It hosts our forms, stores the submissions, and provides website analytics.
• Google Analytics 4 — website usage measurement.
• Calendly — used when you book a conversation with Eric.

Each of these providers processes data under their own privacy terms, and may store it outside Canada.

A note on transparency: Eric operates more than one brand, and those brands share a single HubSpot account. Your submission stays tied to the specific form and purpose you used it for — a Community Host inquiry is handled as a Community Host inquiry, and a newsletter signup subscribes you to The Letter only. Sharing an account does not mean sharing your information across unrelated purposes.

Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Inquiry and contact details are kept in HubSpot while the conversation is relevant, and we remove them on request. Analytics data is kept according to the default retention periods set by Google Analytics and HubSpot.

You can, at any time:

• Decline cookies, or withdraw a previous acceptance.
• Unsubscribe from The Letter using the link at the bottom of any email we send.
• Ask us what information we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete it — email eric@pedalandport.com and Eric will handle it personally.
• Block or clear cookies in your browser settings, independently of anything on this site.

If what we collect changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top is updated. We will not quietly broaden what we gather.
